Anthony Lewis

Anthony Lewis is a Kentucky-born country and ballroom dance professional, entrepreneur, and tech innovator behind X Dance, the world’s first interactive virtual dance-training platform. Growing up in Mount Washington, he traded his dreams of a career as a rock star for the honky-tonk floor, eventually turning a weekend hobby into a full-time career. With his wife and teaching partner, Rose, he has built the largest online following of any dance studio, reaching millions through YouTube, Facebook, and their subscription hub X Dance TV. Anthony’s relaxed, “what actually works” philosophy has landed the pair on ABC, CMT, FOX, and LIVE with Kelly and Mark, where they taught America the Country Two Step on live television. They now tour the United States with their immersive “Two Step Tour,” stream 360-degree workshops for distant members, and coach everyone from first-dance couples to championship hopefuls. In 2020 Anthony pioneered X Dance’s branching-video technology, letting students choose camera angles, leader/follower breakdowns, and troubleshooting paths in real time—a format now emulated across the industry. Away from the camera he juggles fatherhood with children Marley and Pierson, a love of Disney trips, and a July 2025 relocation to Orlando, where he’ll open new studios while continuing to serve a global online family and inspire dancers worldwide.
