Clarissa Priest
Clarissa Priest is a versatile ballroom, country, and swing instructor whose journey arcs from Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley to Texas honky-tonks and back. Trained within the DVIDA syllabus, she began teaching Ballroom, Latin, and Swing during college, later joining Anthony and Rose Lewis’s X Dance team in The Woodlands, where she co-hosted popular Two-Step and West Coast Swing tutorials while mentoring new coaches. Now settled again in Virginia, Clarissa balances private lessons, community classes, and pop-up socials with regular trips to national West Coast Swing contests, consistently placing and holding a spot in WSDC world rankings, widely regarded among social dancers.
